I haven’t been super kind to my feet over the years. A decade of ballet, followed by 12 hour work days in high heels (compliments of corporate America) and a general love for a super high heel has probably done more damage than I realize. It’s interesting how your feet become so conditioned to wearing them – I used to have no issue spending all day in stilettos (granted, much of it was spent at a desk). It wasn’t until I switched to a career that didn’t have a formal dress code that I started wearing flat shoes every day. Every so often I’ll have to wear heels all day and I’m pretty miserable by noon!
In my closet, I have a few pairs of heels: the absolutely fabulous but require blister band-aids heel, the I can stand in these without dying for five hours, then I need flats heel, and the comfortable but sort of granny-looking heel. It’s unusual for the absolutely fabulous and comfortable to come together into one shoe. Seriously seldom…
But, it can happen!
This pair of Italian made heels by Marion Parke are so comfortable, I may as well be wearing flats. This line of heels is designed by a Podiatrist (foot doctor), and she’s incorporated features that make them more kind to your feet. The special insoles include arch support, cupping of the heel (helps improve heel stability), medical grade foam that contours to the foot and extra material added to outside of the shoe to help keep your feet straight. Check out their beautiful collection of shoes – they won’t disappoint you!
Thank you, as always, for reading!
