Hi, happy Friday!
Paige here — helping Hailey out with a quick beauty round-up as she travels home to Colorado. Tonight features a diverse group of products including skincare, makeup and haircare… let’s get right to it!
Clinique Acne Correcting Serum: This is amazing for treating problem spots or larger blemished areas on your face. It’s non drying (i.e., no dried up skin in the morning) and doesn’t irritate the skin, which is a feat for a product that treats zits! At first, I used the product to treat individual blemishes as needed (which it does well), but now I add a couple of drops to problem areas (t-zone for me) daily. It feels like a lightweight moisturizer that balances the oil, yet keeps my skin hydrated. Win!
La Mer Revitalizing Hydrating Serum: I didn’t understand the hype around La Mer until I started using this product… It delivers, and then some! This serum has changed my morning makeup routine altogether. It hydrates skin and evens out the tone in a remarkable way. I now use a much lighter-weight foundation because this serum provides such good, skin-evening results. I noticed a difference in my skin in under a week.
La Mer Cleansing Oil: I bought this cleansing oil after using the serum above, looking to try something new. It removes makeup REALLY well (best aspect in my opinion), without stripping your skin.
Static Nails Pop On Manicure: These are glue-on nails at their best — gorgeous design and fashion forward. Using the special glue, these nails can be worn up to 18 times, and removed easily without harming your nail bed. You can paint over the nail and remove it with polish remover, without altering the original design, too. They have a number of beautiful designs!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecting Liquid: This is a gorgeous natural highlighter. I apply before foundation — it blends well and creates an unreal, dewy glow. As you know, I’m a big fan of contouring and highlighting. I got a sample of this awhile ago and never looked back.
Ilia Lip Conditioner: Unless I’m headed out for a night on the town, lipsticks aren’t generally my thing. I love a good lip balm that’s hydrating and long lasting. I love this conditioner by Ilia… the packaging is beautiful, it has a pleasant and light taste and doubles as a gloss. I’m a big fan!
Drybar Bay Breeze Hydrating Shots: I liken these to the special hydrating treatments you get at the hair salon (that generally cost $30). The package include 4 “shots” of spray, intended to be used once per week. You spray on wet, washed hair and leave in for 5 minutes before rinsing. My hair is definitely more hydrated and soft – a great option for in-between salon treatments.
MarulaOil Styling Cream: This is a more recent addition to my routine, but also one of my favorites. Although I try to wash my hair as infrequently as possible, it’s still dry and damaged (the blonde wasn’t the best idea on earth…). This product keeps the frizz away SO well, and it leaves zero heavy residue. I’m continually impressed by the MarulaOil product line.
Sigma 3DHD Kabuki Brush: This brush is great because of its versatility… It’s the perfect foundation brush, and due to it’s unusual angles, it allows you to buff small areas around your nose and eyes. It makes applying liquid foundation effortless! In fact, we reviewed this brush for AOL’s winter beauty awards as a judge. You can view all of the products here.
Paul Mitchell Express Ion Dry Hair Dryer: Lots of things that I love about this dryer… it’s lightweight, has an LCD digital display, 5 temperatures (all of my previous dryers had 2: hot & cool), easily removable filter for cleaning, and a motor that barely makes a sound. Dry time is quick, too. Online reviews include complaint regarding the placement of the buttons, but I haven’t had any trouble!
If you have any questions, let me know in the comments. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!!
