I am in a mood. Not sure what kind of a mood, but just don’t really feel like myself. Maybe it’s the Sunday blues knowing I have to back to adulting tomorrow. Work has been extremely overwhelming lately and it doesn’t seem like it will be slowing down anytime soon. Running two departments is a huge responsibility and I love my job, it can just be a lot sometimes trying to keep up.
This past weekend I tried to take some time for myself and be with friends. I took a half day on Friday and went downtown with my best friends to celebrate the opening day of the Rockies (baseball) season! It was so fun to just spend time with friends outside, that is with the rest of Denver.
Starting tomorrow, I am going to get back onto my regimented schedule and make sure that I try to hit the gym at least daily. I noticed before that this helped keep my mood up during the week and then when the weekends came, I was able to just have fun knowing I’d been good throughout the week. This also means my diet is going to take a 180 shift. I may have over indulged myself with the pizza and other goodies this weekend, so it’s time to get back to being healthy.
