I’m coming home!! After being on the road for two straight weeks seeing clients, I am finally about to board my flight back to Denver and I have the biggest smile on my face. As I mentioned in a couple of my posts previously, I was in San Diego last week and then had a quick 13 hour turn around and then spent this week in Philadelphia. Well, I shouldn’t say Philly, I should say Reading, PA, which is 1.5 hours from the city.
Reading was a very little town that is known for being on the Monopoly board as one of the railroad stops. It was a cute town with some charm. Eric Church is performing in the arena tonight and I won’t lie, I was tempted to extend my trip.
I flew down there with one of my coworkers and sine we didn’t have plans with the client at night, we decided to take an adventure and drive down to Baltimore one night for dinner. I’d never been before, but it was only an hour and half away from the town so it was a pretty easy drive. We had dinner at this adorable restaurant, the Rusty Scupper (I was later told it is where the tourists go, naturally), and we had the best table in the house. The food was amazing and the view was to die for, so it was well worth the drive.
To my dismay, the weather was insanely hot when we were in PA. I am not a fan of the heat, especially when it comes with humidity so I wasn’t the happiest camper when I walked outside to 94 degrees with 85% humidity. I much prefer the 60-75 degrees so that I can wear sundresses and add a pair distressed denim at night. The best part about dresses like these is that I can wear them day and night and throughout the year. Add an oversized distressed denim jacket for night or jeans during the fall/winter and you can’t go wrong!
We are about to fly into a snow storm when we land in Denver so going from 95 to 25 degrees is going to be a shock to my system! Regardless, I am so happy that I am not going to traveling for a little while so I can just be at home and relax. I’m headed to a fun barn party on Saturday so make sure you watch my Insta stories (@themiddlecloset) to see my outfit!
