Fall is upon us and like I said before, I couldn’t be happier. But in all reality, it’s still extremely warm here so it’s more of a transition rather than a fall into fall. With that, the mornings and nights are on the cooler side with the afternoons still full on blazing. So how do you dress for all of the temperatures? Mix and match your upcoming fall pieces with those that you still wear in warmer temps.
Maybe I am unique, but once I purchase something, I generally don’t want to wait to wear it so I will mix it with different seasonal items. This blouse/sweater is the perfect example. It is a lightweight sweater but when paired with distressed skinnies, is perfect for the cooler nights. I love that if it gets even cooler, I can thrown on a sweater or jacket.
This can also be done with your current spring/summer wardrobe, add a pair of dark jeans and a leather jacket and you’re ready to go for fall. Of course you will have pieces in your closet that will only be applicable to one or two seasons, but what I love most is when you can wear something throughout the year regardless of season by pairing it with different accessories.
How do you like to transition your wardrobe? Thank you for reading!
