Happy short week! In light of having Monday off, I thought it would be fun to feature some of my latest beauty finds. I’ve partnered with Burberry Beauty to find the perfect glow in my daily makeup routine.
Glow Luminous Fluid Base | I am all about making sure that I have a strong primer on my face prior to applying foundation. The glow fluid base, is the perfect start to my routine as it is extremely light and provides a dewy finish that I love. Many times a primer can feel heavy on my skin but this one dries quickly allowing me to put my foundation on top without feeling super packed.
Fresh Glow Highlighter | When finding the right highlighter, I have definitely been partial to both a pressed powder as well as a pen/stick. The thing I love most about this beautiful highlighter is that you can apply it easily and know exactly where it’s going without adding another heavy layer to my face. I apply it lightly to my cheekbones, on the cupid’s bow and above the arch of my eyebrows. It definitely provides a subtle shimmer when in the right light.
‘Face Contour’ Effortless Contouring Pen for Face & Eyes | I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I am not huge on contouring my face, only slightly. I’ve never been one to draw dots or lines and then take the time to blend them in. So when I do, they are very small and accentuating the definitions within my face structure. Burberry has done an excellent job with the Face Contouring pen because it is small and easily blends into your foundation. I feel like I barely have to add more than a couple dots and then it easily blends into my foundation to add just the slightest foundation. I haven’t tried it yet, but might even use it as a cream shadow because it blends so well and feels very light.
‘Fresh Glow’ Highlighting Luminous Pen | Burberry has definitely mastered the highlighting pen that is easy to take with you for a quick glow. Similar to the Fresh Glow Highlighter pressed powder, the highlighting pen really allows you to define exactly where you want the highlight to go with the ease of blending without the need of a brush or sponge. I generally will dot or swipe a small amount of the highlighter onto my cheekbones and then use my ring finger to blend into my makeup.
How do you feel about the highlighting/contouring routine? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments! Hope you have a wonderful day!
