As New York Fashion Week as come and gone, I really wish I could have been there to experience the amazing shows and trends that are coming our way in the coming season. In light of not being able to attend I am still in the mood for fall and am ready for it to be less than 60 degrees! We are still experiencing quite warm weather for September (unfortunately), but as you can see in this post, I am in desperate need for some sweater weather.
Big chunky sweaters have always been something that I love and my closet is very representative of that as I have them stacked on top of each other on several shelves. The thing about them though is they can either make a statement on their own or worn abstractly.
I’ve always loved the look of structures under chunky knits so when I found this one that was basically a two-in-one, I was sold! This one has the structure of a blouse under the sweater making it much easier to wear and less weight. My favorite part about this cable knit is that it’s pulled down over the shoulders making the blouse under a bit more prominent. It allows you to continue to carry the off the shoulder trend into the fall season!
Don’t be afraid to modify your knits and have fun with them! As you can see with this one, I am trying to bring the high collar back (well maybe…). Getting excited to share more knits with you as we get closer to fall/winter, if the temperature ever drops! I’d love to hear what you think about this trend! Hope you all have the best day!
